About Dr. Samir Hasan

Dr. Hasan's journey into medicine began at the University of Texas in 2010, where he developed a strong interest in plastic surgery while working alongside reconstructive plastic surgeons at the Shriner's Burn Center for Children. After graduating from medical school, he completed an intense 6-year comprehensive integrated plastic surgery residency in St. Louis. As a resident, he successfully performed over 2000 procedures covering a multitude of competencies including surgery of the hand, craniomaxillofacial reconstruction, breast reconstruction, nerve surgery, limb salvage, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.

Following residency, Dr. Hasan was identified for his natural talent and passion for aesthetic surgery, and was hand-picked to undergo an additional year of aesthetic fellowship training in New York, operating in Manhattan and Long Island. Dr. Hasan's fellowship is one of only 23 highly sought after cosmetic surgery training programs in the U.S. which are accredited by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. In fellowship, he further honed his artistry, completing over 1500 procedures including breast augmentations, breast lifts, breast reductions, mommy makeovers, Brazilian buttock lifts, rhinoplasties, facelifts, and high-definition liposuction. He is well-versed in a variety of facial implant procedures, Botox, fillers, and non-surgical facelifts utilizing threads.

His research work on breast implant safety is published in peer-reviewed national plastic surgery journals. He is also privileged to have served as the Clinical Assistant Professor in Surgery, helping to educate surgical residents and medical students at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Hasan has a love for the outdoors, and his passion for hiking and skiing brought him to form BeautyBlade Plastic Surgery in Denver, Colorado, where he has been serving patients with five-star results since July 2021.
